Apartment Cleanout in Downtown Cleveland
Moving out of a downtown tower or Warehouse District loft means reserving the freight elevator, booking a loading-dock window and, often, sending the building a certificate of insurance. Tell us the rules and we work within them. Half a truck is $431; a three-piece sectional $185.
Cleveland’s First Neighborhood, Now Lofts
In the first half of the 19th century, the Warehouse District was Cleveland’s original residential area. Artists started converting its buildings in 1981, and it joined the National Register on September 30, 1982.
Today only about 7% of homes downtown are owner-occupied. Lofts and towers stretch toward the lakefront, home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center.
