Pricing
How is my price worked out?
You send a picture; the items in it are matched to our published Cleveland list and totaled. You see that number before booking, and if the photo left something out, a second photo updates it.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, $100. One sofa at $126 is already over it; one twin mattress at $82 on its own bills at the minimum.
Do basements, attics or upper units cost more?
No. A piece costs the same whether it’s in the garage, the third floor or the bottom of the basement stairs.
Is same-day more expensive?
No. If a crew can come today, you pay the same as for a pickup later in the week.
When is it cheaper to pay by the truckload?
For whole basements, garages and houses. A quarter truck is $241 and a full sixteen-yard load $732; the quote works out both methods and charges the lower one.
Booking and Pickup Day
What’s the earliest a crew can get to me?
Frequently the same or the next day, depending on where you are and the size of the job. Open windows show up on the quote page.
Must I be at home?
No. Plenty of customers leave the garage open or share a lockbox code and get photos when the job is finished.
Who are the crews?
Vetted, insured local haulers working through JunkRabbit. Booking and messages go through us; they handle the truck and the carrying.
Do you work in snow?
Yes, all winter. During heavy lake-effect storms we may move a pickup to the next day the roads are safe.
What We Haul
Will you take paint cans or a propane tank?
Yes, each at its own price because of the handling: a one-gallon paint can is $30, a five-gallon bucket $52 and a twenty-pound propane tank $33.
Do you take tires?
Yes. A single tire is $22 and a set of four $87 — useful in Euclid and Shaker Heights, where tires aren’t collected at the curb.
Where does everything end up?
Furniture that can be reused goes to donation, appliances to refrigerant recovery and metal recycling, electronics to recyclers, and the remainder to licensed disposal sites.
Do you remove hot tubs and pianos?
Yes. A hot tub is $364 and an upright piano $364, each with the crew it takes.
Local Pickup Rules
What is Cleveland’s bulk week?
The City collects up to three bulk items per home on your regular day during the first full week of each month. Mattresses and cloth furniture must be wrapped in plastic, appliances drained, and remodel debris isn’t accepted. See the bulk-week comparison.
Do the suburbs follow the same rules?
No. Each suburb sets its own. Cleveland Heights refuses move-outs and clean-outs, Shaker Heights collects bulk only by request, and Lakewood, Parma and Euclid all require upholstered items to be sealed in plastic.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Cuyahoga County and the towns within roughly thirty miles — including Lakewood, Parma, the Heights, Westlake, Mentor, Chardon, Lorain, Elyria, Medina, Hudson and Stow. See the full list.
