Estate Cleanout in Shaker Heights
In Shaker Heights, bulk pickup is by request only — three items per pickup, set on the driveway. For a whole house, that could mean months of scheduling and carrying. We come inside and clear it in one visit, priced by the truckload: half a truck is $431, a full truck $732.
A Van Sweringen Garden Suburb
Shaker Heights was planned by the Van Sweringen brothers, incorporated as a village in 1912 and became a city in 1931. The Moses Warren house here, from 1817, is the oldest in Cuyahoga County.
Shaker Square, built between 1927 and 1929, is ringed by more than 4,000 rental and condo units. Around town, most trash is collected from back and side yards, and bulk collection excludes construction debris, tires, e-waste and hazardous waste. Residents can also use a drop-off on certain Saturdays, once per quarter.

What the Driveway Pickup Can’t Do
More Than Three Items
A whole house of furniture leaves in a single visit, not three pieces at a time.
From Inside the House
Nothing has to be dragged to the driveway first — the crew carries it all from the rooms.
