Furniture Removal Cleveland

Furniture Removal in Cleveland

Getting an old couch collected by the City means waiting for the first full week of the month, sealing it in plastic and hauling it to the tree lawn yourself. We skip all three steps. Photograph the piece, accept one flat price, and a crew carries it out of whatever room it’s in: a sofa is $126, a standard dresser $126.

What the Curbside Rules Ask of You

Every city in Cuyahoga County handles furniture a little differently, and most of the rules put the work on the resident.

City of Cleveland

Up to three bulk items, in the first full week of the month only. Cloth furniture must be wrapped in plastic before it goes out.

Lakewood

Upholstered furniture has to be wrapped and sealed in plastic, and set-outs are only allowed between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Parma

Rumpke takes bulk with the weekly trash, but sofas and other upholstered pieces must be wrapped in sealable plastic.

Euclid

Kimble collects upholstery on the regular day only if it’s double-wrapped in plastic and sealed with duct tape.

None of that applies when we do it. The crew wraps nothing, waits for no special week, and takes the piece from wherever it sits — the basement, the third floor or the back bedroom of an upper unit.

Furniture Removal FAQs

How much does furniture removal cost in Cleveland?

A sofa is $126, a recliner $98, a standard dresser $126 and a large dining table $163. Full rooms run by volume from $241.

Can you get a dresser out of an upstairs double?

Yes. Rear staircases on two-family houses are a routine carry for our crews, and they cost nothing extra.

Do I have to wrap the furniture in plastic?

No. That’s a curbside requirement in Cleveland and several suburbs. We load it unwrapped.

Can a crew disassemble a piece that’s stuck on the stairs?

When a piece won’t clear a doorway or a tight basement turn, the crew takes off legs and backs on site.

Does usable furniture get donated?

Yes. Pieces in good shape are set aside for donation before anything heads to disposal.

Can you come in a week that isn’t bulk week?

Any week. Pick the day on the quote page; the City’s schedule doesn’t affect ours.

Clearing Out a Room?

Photograph the furniture where it stands — the flat price is back in seconds.
